Adobe CS4 compatible between Mac and PC?

If I buy CS4 for my PC, will the files be compatible with Macs? For example, I am a PC user but I have to use a Mac at work...will I be able to work on InDesign at home, put it on a portable drive, and open it on my Mac at work without any problems?

Yes, the files are compatible. The opentype and truetype fonts are as well.

If you already own CS4 for windows, it will most likely not work on the MAC and Vi Vi. Unless your install CD comes with both windows and MAC installation you will only be able to use one or the other based on what your originally purchased. IF you purchased a MAC and have CS4 for windows and it does not work for that reason. MAC has a software called boot camp that will let you install windows on that system in a partition so you can run CS4 for windows.
