Special Effects Makeup Kit?

My cousin wants to go to school to be a Special Effects makeup artist. I would like to buy her a high-quality, comprehensive starter kit and I'm looking to spend around $50. I also looked into buying the components separately on Amazon to save money and get a broader range of things. Can anyone suggest a good kit within my price range or list some key items I could buy separately? What are the "basic staples" of a Special Effects artist's toolkit?

    Alright! So go to YouTube.com and type in juicystar07 . She's got one video where she bought a huge makeup tool kit and she gives the link on the sidebar! Hope this will help!

    Hello

    There is quite a range of work that Special Effects

    Makeup covers.

    There is the directly applied makeup effects that a

    makeup artist would be able to do, but often people get

    jazzed about prosthetics and three dimensional work.

    These involve other skills and materials which are not

    particularly 'makeup' based such as sculpting, molding

    and working with chemicals etc.
