were can i find a program that can test or manually run my labtop cooling fan?
my labtop's default setting dont cool it down enough.

everest will report what its doing but you cant make any changes with it
I dont know of any software you could use to change it
Have you tried opening the case and cleaning the fan shrouds also a good time to get all the dust kittys out especially on the heatsink for your processor. Many times a good cleaning will solve heat related problems.

Yup it quite is a small vent on the element with a fan all laptops have them. a number of them save the fan on all of the time. on an identical time as that's plugged into the capability cord the fan ought to run all of the time. a number of them turn the fan off whilst the temperature is cool adequate on an identical time as they do no longer look to be plugged in to save battery capability.
