People who are deaf due to cochlear damage do not suffer from motion sickness. Why not?

different part of the ear, deafness due to cochlear damage is damage to the cochlaer nerve, where as your balance(which would cause motion sickness) comes from the vestibular nerve, even though they are close to each other, they are not directly conected

She is right about the vestibular nerve conducting this to the brain but the fluid in the semi circular canals 'sloshing' about causes the nerve activation to begin with, this is in an x, y, z plane arrangement so also helps with balance,
