What happens when you report a question as "illegal"?

Specifically I am referring to questions in Politics & Government that are advocating armed insurrection and/or violence against federal and local government officials. I see from a search that there are an increasing number of questions like that. Does anything happen at all?

Yes and no. It is reviewed by the Customer Care people (as opposed to simply the YA team) and it may prompt more extreme action. For example, ALL Yahoo accounts may end up being closed and the account fully terminated (all Q&A removed) rather than a simple suspension. If further investigation is warranted (as in suicide issues), some further things MAY happen, but it is not very likely.

Yeah I have reported a few of those myself. In fact it's about the only time I report questions. Anyways I find that alot of people tend to report these and they get removed. But beyond that I don't think they do anything else. Since this is a public forum we really can't take anything seriously.

this type of response is not because of Politics & Government but because of Politicians & Government Laws, from which people are just fed up.
