    I personally wouldn't. BUT, they supposedly sell a SAFER, more nontoxic/less fumes type of paint. They would be able to point it out at the hardware store.

    Yes, but you need the right paint. Go to Lowes or Home Depot, which ever gives you the best customer service, or a specialized store like Sherman Williams. They will be able to help you.

    Only if you use 'unleaded paint' leave the windows open to air the room and rid it of the smell of paint and don't put your child in that room for 24 hours

    I did! We just used regular paint -from walmart I think. We painted it before he was born and painted outside.

    They make paint that is non-toxic, use that.
