If I use my laptop with wi-fi what will the ip address be?

If I use my laptop at one mcdonalds with wi-fi, then go to starbucks and use their connection with my wi-fi will my id address be the same or different?

    The public IP address will be the address of the hot spot. Your other machine identifiers will still be the same, they are fixed.

    This depends on if your laptop is using DHCP or is set to use a specific IP. If your Wi-fi icon in the start bar does not say manually configured, it will change from location to location. This will be the more common scenario. So, expect your IP address to change depending on where you connect. The router you connect to will set your IP.

    Also, the IP that any website or another computer on the internet sees changes each time you connect from another location.

    if you have their key, then you can do it, otherwise you may will have to sign up with starbucks, they charge about 20 bucks at month

    with the difference that you can use your laptop every where, where is any hi fi spot, in all the country

    Im almost positive it gives you a different one. I could be wrong, but I think its the same as taking your laptop to your friends house and using there internet, youd have there IP.
