Why do a lot of restaurants serve maxi portions on mini plates?
I don't go to Ihop anymore because their pancakes are served just at the very end of the plates,so when you pour syrup on it half of it ends up on the table!

Lol, yeah they do that to trick the eye, and make you think that it's a super sized pancake! I think it's funny and ridiculous. I could only fit one pancake on the plate, it pissed me off. So i get what you mean.

They do that to make it look even bigger than it is.
That whole syrup thing would make me angry, too. Ask for a larger plate.
