Does GOD approve of killing in His name ?

It makes no difference to "god" It is up to us to decide if it is bad or good.

Not only approves, sometimes he commands it.

Judges 21:10-12 (King James Version)

10And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest, and commanded them, saying, Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.

11And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.

I think killing in the name of God is another way to take the Lord's name in vain.

Yes he does, read Kings 2:23. He brings forth bears to kill children for mockery. Yahweh is a loving god indeed!

NO! God does not approve of murder in his name. Just because people are doing that doesn't mean that he approves of it. God is about love and care and concern for others before himself so why would he condone murder in his name?

yeah. he also approves of killing adulterers, disobedient children, people who work on the sabbath, homosexuals, and many other innocent people

Has he stopped the people that kill in his name? NO.

To the contrary, religions, like Christianity, that have killed so many people in the past, have become one of the most powerful in the world.

I do believe one of the commandments is thou shalt not kill. He doesn't approve of killing no matter what.

Not MY God, no. That's THEIR God.

Mine has a perma-puppy. Its a goofy, awkward, tumbling puppy FOREVER! So he never gets sad and wants people to kill.

Nothing happens without God's permission or consent. However, God is love. God wants us all to love one another. One day, God will rid the world of war and violence. It is in His plan. Time will show this to be true. However, don't look for it too soon. It will be years after you and I have gone to the other side.
