I am writing a Psychology research paper on Cults. I need a title to my paper and I cannot think of anything!?

The original title I was going to work with was The Underlying Causes of Involvement with Cults, but I really don't think it fits. It is written in APA format so here are some of my subheadings...

-What is a Cult?

-Young Adults and Cults

-Stages of Cult Affiliation

-Commitments and Persuasion (foot-in-door-phenomenon, persuasive elements, deindividuation)

-History and Examples of Cults

-Disaffiliation of Cults

I don't know if it is because it is the end of the semester, but I am really cannot put together a title that I like. Thanks in advance!

The main attribute to a succesful cult is a group leader with CHARISMA. a good title could be ; MIND CONTROLLERS and their CULT FOLLOWERS

It's all very well to throw out subheadings, what you truly need to use as a title is the thesis of the paper. I am sure you know this, but I'll reiterate, condense the entire paper into one sentence, take the essence of that sentence and use it as your title.

"Cults, If you think you belong to a group, you're probably in one."

    or

"Cults, If you think your religion isn't one, you'd better read this paper."

    "Drawn In"

"Charismatic Religious Leaders and Their Followers"

    "Worshipful"

    Good Luck with your title!

Well i think your title should always catch the reader so u could try "Care to join?" or ummm... "Drink the Kool Aid" something that is relevant to what is in your paper

Personally I liked your suggestion for a title. :)
