How can I adjust brightness in Presario V3000?
I've installed Windows Vista Ultimate Edition in my Presario V3000 Compaq. Its very bright when power is connected. I wan't to reduce brightness but I couldn't. I've searched every corner of My laptop and also have tried Brightness button of my Keyboard but it isn't working.
What's wrong? Please suggest.

Most laptop manufacturers make it a feature to dim the display on batteries (relatively speaking: brighten the display on AC power). Some, not all, laptops can adjust this extra feature. However, normally, turning the brightness down compensates. Try the graphics driver for more control
