c & c generals error, how to solve the serial port problem?
I have set up a local network without servers. The network connection is going through a 3 com switch. I have installed the c & c generals on to the network PC ( 2 pc) but still cannont play network with each other. I've encounter serial port being used.
Is there any way I can play through network without the serial port error. My networks come with a IP address which I can ping to each other.

Have you tried other games in the LAN network. If other game are working properly, check C&C LAN configuration, maybe theres some settings that you need to set up..
