Is Hawaii a bad state to live in if I have a big fear of spiders?
I'd Google my question but I'm afraid too many pictures would pop up.
I wanna move somewhere else (I hate living here in Illinois)... Prefer NO SNOW and I like Hawaii... I tried Florida, but people said it's not a good place for arachnophobic people... I like Hawaii more (Florida was just closer to my family and friends)... I just.. What is there to be afraid of bug-wise? Are spiders really the size of tuna cans? Should I let arachnophobia dictate where I move?

do you like florida or hawaii better?
Favourite answer:Hands down, Hawaii (that was the reason why I moved to the most expensive state in the U.S.).
I used to live in Florida; I did not care much for the local Floridiots (and vice versa).

Maui vs. Kauai Vacation Spot?
I am planning a 2.5 week honeymoon to Hawaii in late December / early January. We already know we are spending at least 4-5 days each in the Big Island and Oahu. We want to also see either Maui or Kauai or both. We are not sure if it will be too tight to see both, and if we only see one, we do not know which one is the "must-see." Any recommendations on if we should see both or one over the other? Happy to hear reasons as well - I'm sure it's very much based on the type of trip different people like.

Do I need to provide a Covid-19 test?
Flying from Guam to Texas, but have a 3 hour layover in Hawaii. Will I need to provide a negative test when I land in Honolulu or will I be fine without one since I won’t be leaving the airport?

Is it still acceptable for people to live with parents in Hawaii?
Favourite answer:Still pretty common on the Islands - read somewhere that over 10% of homes are multi generational. Even on the mainland, when I was younger I lived with my Tutu and cousins as it was expected/customary
