I have an 11x24 Charcoal Drawing that I need to preserve. All of my previous drawings I have simply gotten laminated, but the company I went to get this one laminated to refused as he believed there was a high chance of the drawing getting damaged in the process. So now I need an alternative that preferably isn't framing. All of my drawings I have taped to my bedroom wall, and I would like to do the same to this one. A frame would be too excessive and bulky. I've searched for clear sleeves and protectors online, but almost none of them offered 11x24 options. The only one I found required me to by a bulk purchase of 100. Any suggestions???

One of my favorite hobbies is to draw, specifically drawing portraits of my favorite bands and musicians. I'm fairly talented at it, but I don't want to make a career out of it and so do not care to take college courses for it. But I am eager to get better at it and so was wondering what are the best recommended websites that provide drawing lessons? There are many out there, but with varying prices and content that it is hard for me to decide, so I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

Alright, so I'm a 400m runner for my High School track team, and I keep having the problem of losing my energy before the race. For the days leading up to the race, I'll be getting myself spontaneously pumped up just thinking about it. But then like 15 minutes before the actual race, instead of getting the adrenaline that often comes with getting nervous, I just feel real empty and sluggish which hurts my results. I try to get properly warmed up and try listening to music, but they don't seem to work. I was wondering of anyone had any suggestions as to how I could get myself energized right before the race.

To be honest, I am pretty happy with what I have drawn. However, my only issue is that I wonder whether or not I am actually good at drawing, because it seems that I can only draw effectively whenever I can see what I am drawing. For example, if I see an apple I can imitate said apple on paper, but not so much from the top of my mind without the apple. Like, I need visual stimuli. So does this not make me a good drawer any more? Or should I disregard it and believe that I am good after all? As a 16 yr old junior I need to know if I have the ability for it to be worth pursuing a career in art. All help appreciated.

I'm a high school cross country and track runner. Recently, I have begun to feel this uncomfortable or even slightly painful sensation around my right knee. I visited the athletic trainers and they informed me that I have a stressed IT band, and so for the past few weeks I have been stretching out, not running for the most part, and icing everyday. However, after all these weeks I have seen little to no improvement and my knee still gives in to pain. Now that the outdoor season of track is starting, I want to know what else can I do?

I have to keep a running log for Cross Country, and so I need to the amount of miles that I run for. However, I run on these random trails in my backyard woods. How would I be able to determine how many miles I run on these trails?

I tried researching myself, but to no avail. Through plenty of deep thought, I have allowed myself to be indulged in the mindset that my doctrines of belief is the idea that all that is perceived through my senses is art painted by my mind. I feel no god painted, but this does not immediately declare me a follower of atheism. Everything perceived around me is delicate art, and I should find beauty in all of it. My emotions are but feelings of approval and disapproval of the surrounding art that my mind has made. When people die, it is because they have lost their beauty, thus my mind extinguishes them. The people around me are indeed a reality, but they are artists of mind as I am. Their perceptions are art, and they approve and disapprove them in their own ways, just as an artist approves and disapproves their literal art. An individual who is color blind, is their own perception of art. They are not wrong in any manner. In overall, I belief that everything is the creation of mind. Is their a name for that?

After seeing how the Pittsburgh Pirates had the worst record in 2010, yet they are in playoff contention in 2011, I wondered what is the best that a team has done, after being the worst one year before. Like win a World Series or so?

Lets go back a few years ago when I was say maybe 9. I went with my dad to an ARMY picnic with him and when I had my tray with all the food I lost sight of everything and only observed black nothingness. I struggled to find a place to put my tray down but ultimately failed and this blackness stayed over me for about maybe two minutes. However, it musn't have looked like a stupid kid walking around all dazed and confused so nobody saw anything peculiar and I have kept that secret with me except for a few friends like 3-5 years later.. Ever since that day I have been having uncommon 10-15 second blackouts where I can't see and just wait for it to pass, and in some cases I lose leg strength. So now (5 years later) a freind has told me that this could be harmful to me. Should I be concerned?

I was listening to my iPod and clicked the home button to see what song came up, and it was working fine. Then a few minutes later I clicked it again and WHITE SCREEN!!! I looked up what to do and apparently its been dubbed white screen of death. I tried to restore it, and I tried to hold down the home and sleep buttons simultaneously but nothing seems to work. What should I do?

Ya see I'm a 14-year old boy with a dream/goal, and that is to one day join the Special Weapons and Tactics known as S.W.A.T. However, I'm not knowledgable about the world of business outside of High School. What are the expectations that I need to meet to become a SWAT officer or the classes I should take. I run the 100m, 400m, and 4x400m. I just started track this year and was told to get spikes and apparently I got sprinting spikes. This is good for my 100m, but how will it work in distance? Will it hurt my speed time for distance, help my speed time for distance, or will it not effect it at all? I wanted to know so I know whether or not to wear my regular running shoes or my sprinting spikes.

P.S: I'm not willing to buy distance spikes.

I dropped my iPod Touch in water and now I can't slide to unlock, play the songs, turn up the volume through touch. Basically the "Touch" for it will not work. However, I can put it into sleep mode, take it out of sleep mode, modify the volume, and turn it on. Is there anything I can do?

I've ranked up before but I don't know how.
