  • Need help naming a food policy/awareness blog!?

I'm wanting to write a blog on keeping up with food policy and ways you can fight against it and raise awareness. I'm a resource economics major and want to keep an economics side but include green living, nutrition, and food policy involved. So far I've thought of names...

    1) Food War

    2) Progressive Eats

    3) Gourmet Economics

Do you like those? Do you have any other suggestions?

  • difference in guitar hero consules?

Is there any difference between the actual guitars/game between say Play Station and the Wii? Is one better than the other? I know the guitars are different to accomidate each consule, but does one play better than the other? I want to get guitar hero, and since I currently don't own any game consuls, so I am open to options. This is really the only game I want to play, so which ever is best for what I am looking for.

  • Help with potty training dog!?

I've had my dog for about 4 months now. He's a year old and I adopted him from an animal rescue. He was abused by his previous owner and is pretty skiddish although he does trust me. He's been coming along great except for with his potty training. He still has accidents, I'd say about 1 a day. I take him out as much as possible and he knows to go outside. When I let him out he often goes. The problem is, if he needs to go when he is inside the house, he doesn't even alert anyone or "ask to go out" he just goes somewhere in the house. It's very frustrating and getting hard to live with. We have another dog who doesn't have problems but he isn't learning from watching. He also isn't the kind of dog who marks his territory. When he goes, he goes a lot. It's not like he will just go a little bit and then come inside and go some more. HELP! I am running out of patience!

  • Anyone know where I can buy a Tail Bag that can be braided but has velcro on the tubes?

Last summer I borrowed a tailbag from someone that was the 3tube kind you braid in. Except it had velcro down the sides so you didn't have to pull it through. I've looked online and can't seem to find one. Anyone have a clue as to where I can get one for my horse?

  • Is it ok to start a new birth control even though I haven't started my period?

I recently stopped using my old BCP to switch to a new one after the pack stopped. I got my period like normal, but now my period is late. I'm not pregnant I am sure of that and my period has always been irregular. I want to start these new pills, but I know you are supposed to start them on the first day of your next period. Since I have no idea how far from now that is going to be, is it ok to just take them now? Or should I wait still? I'm about a week late as it is.

  • How likely is it that I can spread mono from one person to the other?

My roommate was just diagnosed with mono on Tuesday. I didn't spend much time with her, and later that evening I went over to my significant other's apartment. Today he's feeling really sick with a sore throat and has a 103 degree fever. The dr's said it might be strep but are waiting for the results. I'm afraid that I may have been a carrier for mono because I know these are two signs of the disease. I had it years ago so I know it is extremely unlikely for me to get the disease myself. What are all of your takes on this?
