  • Special Kitty & Purina ONE users....?

I DO NOT feed either of these foods, so I am looking for some one does.

Please look on the back of the bag for the recommended feeding for an 8lb cat and let me know how much it says to feed.

I am trying to do some research for work and need this info.

  • coprophagia?

My dog recently starting eating his own stools. I know the best way to cure it is to pick them up asap. But it is not always ideal in the middle of the night.

Has anyone tried over the counter products or home remedies that worked for you. I have looked at some OTC products at a local pet store. But my dog is 130lbs and most products is 1 tab per 10lbs (I will not give my dog 13+ pills a day). Most OTC products are not always "safe".

And I am having my vet check into some products.

Please let me know your success or not-so successful stories

  • Still Mourning? Normal?

Almost a year ago my Boxer past away.

It is kind of a long story but, I will try and sum it up as best as possible.

This dog was called undiagnosable by 4+ vets of what was wrong with her. I had every test done and I never had any answers. She was never healthy enough to have her spayed and while my vet was on vacation she went down hill had a temp of 106 degrees, I rushed her to an emergency facility. They told me she had the beginning of a pyometra. I was devistated! She was placed on treatment and she pulled through. 2-3 weeks later, bloodwork was completed and she was normal (for once!) and I had her spayed. Two days later, I woke up on Saturday morning. She was DEAD!

There is no word to describe how I felt, I did not think it was possible. I did know what in the hell to do, I lost my mind. Almost everyday I still can remember those exact moments when I found her, how I felt, who I called, what they said. It seems like it was just yesterday. It is the worst memory.
