My MIL sold her home her in California. Buyers wanted a 30 day close in order to qualify for a better rate which my MIL's agent (who is acting dual agent) agreed without asking with MIL. MIL declined 30 day but signed an addendum to the contract to give an addtional 15 days and in lieu of rent buyers wanted certain furnishings. Now days before the COE the buyers want another addendum demanding a $2500 "deposit" that they say they will give back after she leaves the property. MIL's agent agreed to it before asking MIL and my MIL declined. Now the buyer's want to back out of the sale. The buyers have $5000 of earnest money on the line and my MIL's agent is trying to bully my MIL into signing a release of the earnest money because she is blaming my MIL for the null of the sale because she won't sign the addendum and pay the $2500.00.

I know normally it is rude to request money or gift cards. However we are hosting my son's party at a baseball game and don't want to try and manage packages at the ballpark. I am sending out emails with all the logistics (maps, directions etc) and it just feels greedy to put this in the email.

I recently was pulled over for speeding. I didn't have my registration and the officer cited me for that but it sounded as if he gave me a warning for the speed portion. On the citation it has the vc for the fix it portion, but just says verbal speed no code. Did he cite me for speeding?

I was told that you shouldn't paint bathrooms any shade of green because it will make people look bad when looking in the mirror. Kind of like how flourescent lighting makes us look bad.

My mother in law was kicked out of her mobile home (owned by dtr and son-in-law) and now resorted to living in their non-functional RV. She is having a heck of a time finding an interim place to rent until she figures out what she will do. She has two large dogs 65-75lbs and only about a 1k budget to work with for rent. Placer County, California. Her dogs are part of her family so please don't suggest she gets rid of the dogs. Places I find only take pets to like 25lbs! RIDICULOUS ~ my GSD weighs 110lbs ~ thank God I don't have to find a place!

A daughter and her husband buy their mother a mobile home~cash. Person leasing the mobile home space must be on the title so the mother is on title. Dtr and husband decide to sell mobile home and mother has to move out. Potential buyer bottoms out and now dtr and husband tell mother she must continue to pay space rent even though she no longer lives there, b/c they can't afford it. It will ruin her credit because dtr and son in law are not on the lease. Is there a way to get out of the lease so her credit isn't scarred. She has great credit~ dtr and son in law have crap credit so they don't care if their credit is marred.

I currently went back to school and am finishing my prereq's to get my RN. However; I recently was offered and accepted a position from Administration Specialist to a Project Analyst. My new boss is supportive and say's I can take this position to higher levels. I am now at a crossroad and am wondering if I should pursue my degree in Business instead. I am 38y/o, married and have a son to care for all while completing my degree in ?? whichever I decide.

Back in August I ended up having two root canals back to back. One of them has a post and core set up but needs a crown. The other still has the existing crown but doc said it has a crack and eventually will need to be replaced.. I don't have the $$ to complete the work ~ already charged $2800.00 on my credit card to cover so far and will pay interest on that! Now the tooth with the cracked crown aches sometimes ~ is that normal?

I have both which would be the better choice b4 I cough up $50 bucks or more....

I usually game on my PS3 but saw this game in the store and thought it might be something to dabble in when I am sitting at the PC. I know it is not a new realm, but wanted to know what people thought of it. I think there is a new epic coming out soon.

Help my nephew (13) was diagnosed with these 3 diseases. My sister-in-law hates modern medicine and refuses to seek treatment. She took him to a Naturopathic MD that recommend she take him to a specialist (MD). She chose to do a liver/kidney cleanse, adjust his foods and see what happens a month from now by taking another blood test. She took him to some homeopathic lady that did a test by pressing herbs against his chest and pressing on his arm to see if he reacted to the pills. She pumps him full of like7-10 pills/herbs 3-4x daily on a daily basis vs feeding him healthy foods. She does routine colon cleanses and colloidal silver as a cure all. HELP I feel like my SIL is going to kill her son! I don't know enough about the diseases or treatments to know if I am just overreacting.

I am taking a summer course in Human Development. I have to read another book in addition to the text book :( and write a book report. Must be relevant to developmental psychology and have potential for current discussion. I can't find anything interesting :(

I was thinking of taking my son here for his birthday and then playing surfside. Rather then forking out all this money for a birthday party that the money is basically so everyone else has a good time (at his age now anyway)

I will already have a Gen Ed AA and AS degree in 2010
