Hi my current system is -asus a8n sli deluxe / amd 4000+ single core / 2gb ocz platinum el / bfg 7800gt o/c / ultra v series 500watt psu / windows xp..in afew days ill be installing an opteron 170 dual core processor..is there any settings or patches i need to change before i put this chip in?....thanx

im planning on building a gamming system and would like some opinions on what am2 board made by ASUS would be the best one to buy? ill be buying a 6000+ black edition / GPU - EVGA 8800gt ...just cant decide on which motherboard to use.. would appriciate some opinions

this is my current set up - asus a8n sli deluxe / amd 4000+ @ 2.7 - 270x10 / artic freezer pro / 2-1gb pqi turbo 3-3-3-6 2t - 333mhz - freq is 225.1 mhz / bfg 7800 gt o/c .... my problem is that i cant seem to o/c this any higher and stay stable --- just learning to o/c btw - ive seen alot of other people with clocks up to 3.1 with this same set up with different memory tho -- would it be worth upgrading my memory to the ocz 2- 1gb pc3200 ddr400 memory? any tips or advice on improving my performance would be appriciated ... thanks

have 1GB=2-512mb micron pc2700 ddr [matched pair] / 1GB=2-512mn hynix pc2 4200 ddr2 [ matched pair] / Sempron 3200+ processor / bestec 250watt PSU....everything is 2 yrs old and works with no problems, upgraded my system and dont need these anymore , will sell CHEAP
