  • Should Tea Tree oil make you hair stiff?

I have been using Via Natural ( an off brand I got at Big Lots) for about 3 days, and while it does tame the fly aways and keep my hair nourished it is making my hair a bit stiff and sticky. Is this normal or is it because I am using an off brand?? Previous I was using OGX Argan oil and I really liked it, only got this cause it was like 2$. Maybe I should stick to my regular brand??

  • NCIS series Premiere, did anyone else watch this?

It seems to me That Ziva was a little unhinged, she accused Gibbs of abandoning her, but she is the one who left the team and then was pronounced dead when her house was bombed and went into hiding. She hid everything and did not reach out to him until she needed help killing this person, who she claims was trying to kill her. At the very beginning there was a shootout at Gibbs' house and then after that any violence was started by her. She just did not seem the way she was when she was on his team. Anyone else feel that way??

  • Homeschooling/ Online school??

My child is begging to be home schooled or have school online with k12 or something similar. I am worried about her emotional and social development, she is on the young end of her age (12) as her birthday is in June. She has always had trouble getting along with other children and has made great progress since she has been in school. She has major trouble with the wild and crazy ( mostly black boys) kids in her class and says that it is hard for her to concentrate, though she still does well and has been on Principals list throughout school. Just worried that if I/ we take her out and homeschool her it will negate what progress she has made socially and emotionally.??? Thoughts???? Will talk to her counselor at some point.

  • Does it annoy anyone else that Don Lemon get really drunk for New Years?

I mean it is only 8:30 and he is trashed out of his mind. Why is he getting paid to get drunk on TV. There are several others also, Brooke Baldwin and that blond. Anderson Cooper always seems to control himself, but those others get REALLY drunk. It just annoys me. Commenting here cause CNN would not let me and I had to get this out.

  • Auditory Processing Disorder??? My 10 year old reacts badly to noises in the classroom,?

When other kids make noises in the classroom, like popping or other types of noises, it affect her concentration and she will hide under her desk, put her fingers in her ears, and lately (the most disturbing) she has started to "choke" herself. We are getting her assessed on Monday as we are quite worried, but just wondering what to expect at the assessment and what some of you other parents are thinking about this. She does well in school and does not have all of the symptoms that I have seen listed and she does seem to do worse at school than she does at home. Just really worried about her and not really sure how to help.

  • Why does my cat use the corner of the litter box?

Let start off with that I have been a cat owner for many years and have often answered questions here about cat behavior. I have always wondered though why she only uses the corner of the box when she has a whole huge box to go in, is it a comfort thing?? It is really hard to clean out when it's in the corner too.

It seems that are many more in the last couple years, Animal Kingdom, Good Behavior, Sons of Anarchy and , Orange is the New Black. They are glorifying being a criminal by making them look like "real" people, they are CRIMINALS, why is this??

  • Can I ( an adult female) wear a tick collar to prevent ticks?

There are woods near our house where we walk the dog and we (both my husband and I) are getting ticks. I am home more so am the one walking the dog more, this is my second tick in like a week. The dog has had one and my husband has had one, but again this is my second. Can I wear a tick collar, like on my wrist or ankle to prevent ticks.

  • Dog ( 1year) has started to get up at 2AM or so needing to go out, he was potty trained and has gone the whole night before.?

This has been going on for a couple weeks, usually we take him out before we go to bed and I guess one night we did not and he really had to go. Now it just seems like it is an expectation. How do we progress to get him back to staying in the whole night. It is messing with our sleep to have to get up at 2 for him and then 4 for the cat.

  • My dog is eating sticks?? What is up with that?

He is a lab / tic hound mix?? and is about 8 weeks old, we just got him last Tuesday. He is really good otherwise and has bones and a rope toy and we play with him alot but when we go outside and he is done with his business he will plunk down and chew and eat small sticks, I mean he is ingesting them. We have started his shot series and he got the flea / tick stuff so all is good that way. Does he have some sort of deficiency that would not be normally detected. Have had other dogs and they never ate sticks. Is it because of his breed. Really confused.

  • What makes you an adult?

Know you are considered an adult by law at 17, but what constitutes as adult. Is it behavior, being responsible, or is it really just age

I know ALOT or people who are "adults" and do not act that way at all.

This is philosophical, so please no snide remarks/

  • sleeping patterns in a toddler?

sleeps only 11 hours a night. From what I have read and been told the normal for a toddler is around 13 hours a day. She is not getting this as she REFUSES to take naps and sleep from 8 to 7 on most days if not less. Is this normal, is this OK.

  • Stepson wants to get teeth whitened?

He is willing and has (says) saved up enough to pay for half. He is only 16, so his teeth are pretty white to begin with, we think it may be a waste of time and money. Also whitening strips the enamel, this in not good for someone so young. Should we just go along and let him get it done, or delay him till he can really understand the consequences.
