I want to be able to calculate an exposure without having to use the light meter in my camera. I've read about the "sunny 16" rule and its really amazing but it only works in the outdoors. Is there something similar for low light situations???

I had a bad experience with my wedding photographer and i just thought i could take better ones. My wife was so sad so i told her to wear her wedding dress and we went to the park for some post-wedding pics. Some friends really liked them and have suggested that i should do this for money, but just don't know how people (other than friends and family) would be willing to pay for my work.

I've taken some photography courses and I'd like to start making money taking pictures, but i don't have wedding photos to start a portfolio. Should i just go and crash a wedding and start shooting (photos:))??? How do i gather photos for portfolio????
