8 months ago right before my husband deployed I got my green card.

I know I'd have to wait a few years to apply for citizenship but since I know they can expedite the process for military and military spouses Im wondering If I can apply for citizenship after having the green card for 8 months.

My husband is deployed until July or so.

Im currently 21 weeks pregnant.

I've had Carefirst Bluechoice for a couple of years now and it has covered everything since the beginning of my pregnancy.

I got married a couple of weeks ago (My fiance, now husband, is getting deployed in July so we decided it'd be best to get married before he leaves).

He enrolled me on DEERS and Tricare.

My coverage with Tricare is supposed to begin in June 1.

My question is:

After I cancel my policy with Carefirst and start the one with Tricare, do I have to go through all the tests again? All the blood tests, and exams, ultrasounds, all that?

Im currently 21 weeks pregnant. My husband is getting deployed in July, so he wont be there when I give birth.

How do I enroll my child in Tricare and DEERS without him present? What do I need?

I think I read somewhere that I need a power of attorney because he'll be deployed at the time. Is that true? And if it is, what kind of power of attorney? Medical? Financial? General?

Also, Im currently under other insurance (Carefirst) and my Tricare wont go into effect until June 1. When it does and I go to my new Dr. would I have to go through all the tests again?

First im sorry for the long post but please read it. I know its long but I sure could use any help please.

So a little background information about my fiance and I.

My fiance is 25 years old. He was raised as a Mormon (yes I know that's not the name of the religion). He went to his mission when he was 18 and until about a year and a half ago he was a good Mormon boy. All his family is Mormon. Her parents are VERY religious, his brother is in his mission right now... well you get the family picture.

Me, I just turned 20 and I wasnt raised in any religion. I was taught to believe in god and to do what's right but I've never really followed any religion.

My father was a Jehovah's Witness but after he died (when i was about 2) we never really followed the religion anymore. I was taught some stuff about them but dont follow any of it anymore.

My family on my mom's side is all catholic. They're from Spain so they're like really Roman Catholics.

I consider myself spiritual but not religious. Like I said I believe in god very much but I've been disappointed by religions so I dont follow any of them.

My fiance and I met a little over a year ago. When we met he had stopped going to church for a couple of months.

I met his family a few months ago and I love them, and they really like me too.

He has met my family and he has a very good relationship with them.

Right not im 13 weeks pregnant. Yes, we know we made a mistake, but we really love each other and we plan to get married next year.

I have no problem with him being Mormon. He has said he wants to go back to the church and I support him 100% because I know how much it means to him. He also agreed that the kid will be raised Mormon. And he has told me he'd like it if I go to church with him and the kid, If I want to.

I've read alot about the church and done alot of research because I think its important to be on the same page with that.

He also has told me alot of his church and even though some stuff are, not weird, just different from other religions, I dont find it crazy and I dont judge it, which he thought it was weird by the way, cause he said most people who knows that stuff think its crazy or that Mormons are weird or whatever.

I really liked what I've read about the religion I have to admit. Although im mot saying I want to become a Mormon, I am learning more about it and yeah maybe if I find it in my heart that I should consider becoming a Mormon then I'll do it. But I want to take my time because faith is important to me, and I think faith should come from the heart and not just because someone told you that's what you should believe in. So I want to make sure if I do decide to become a Mormon I'll do it because I know its the right thing, and not just because my fiance is a Mormon.

I do have some fears though... Mostly about how people of the church will look at us and maybe judge us. Yes we know we make a huge mistake but we have had enough judgment already.

I'd like to go to church one Sunday and experience that. But again im afraid of people judging us, judging me.

Also I've never been religious or really followed a religion. And I know Mormons are REALLY involved in the church and they have all this traditions and stuff... I don't know if im going to fit in you know.

I cant turn to my family because none of them are religious. And they already think im weird and all become all religions or whatever just because they've seen me reading the book "Articles of Faith", which by the way I thought it was a great book.

But they kind of judge me. They said I changed since I've been with my fiance and that now I'll become this completely different person if I become Mormon.

So every time I talk to them I end up with more fears than support.

I don't want to become a different person, and I don't think I would if I do become Mormon. But they get this ideas in my head and it just scares me a little bit.

They're not bad people. I love my family, but they are not really supportive on this. Even though they say they support me, I know they don't really do.

I guess im just looking for some support and someone to tell me what to expect from church members. And if anyone has been in a somewhat similar situation.

Of if you werent raised as a Mormon but became one later on, how did you feel about it?

How were you treated, etc?

I'd really appreciate any help you can give me.

I went for my first prenatal appointment last Friday.

The doctor wasn't sure about how far along was I so she sent me for an ultrasound today.

I had a transvaginal ultrasound. The nurse didn't say anything while she was doing it, but i could see the gestational sac, but no baby. I got worried mostly cause she didn't say anything and just kept trying to find the baby, i guess that's what she was doing.

She measure it and wrote that i was 6 weeks 1 day along. I read this on the report because again she never said anything.

Then the doctor just told me to come back in a week for another ultrasound because it was too early to see the fetus.

Im kinda worried because i've been looking for info on the internet and some people say they should've been able to see the fetus while other say it wont be until next week when they can see the fetus pole. She didn't seem worried and didn't mention the possibility of miscarriage or anything, which im guessing its good.

I know every pregnancy is different, but this is my first pregnancy and i obviously don't want to lose the baby, so i feel a little scared that they couldn't see the baby.

I had 3 positive HPT, then a blood test done at the doctor's office (which confirmed the pregnancy), and today the took an urine sample.

I haven't had any bleeding or spotting, which im guessing its good and suggests that i didn't have a miscarriage or anything like that, and besides from some cramping/bloating and sore breasts i ha vent had any other symptoms. So im guessing this will be (i hope) an easy pregnancy.

So my question is if this has happened to someone before and if everything went ok at the end.

So I took a pregnancy test on Sunday and it came back positive, then again on Monday, positive again.

So I called my Doctor and I schedule an appointment for this Friday.

Now, this will be my first child so i really don'tt know what to expect on my first prenatal visit.

I read online that they do a whole bunch of tests and take my medical history and all that, but I'd like to hear from people who have been there and have gone through that.

I figured I'm about 5 weeks pregnant (Last period was on Dec. 8th), so i don't know if I'll be getting an ultrasound or not. I read that they suppose to perform ultrasounds at 9 weeks, but I'd like to know if someone has gotten one before that.

Also my boyfriend wants to go with me, will he be able to come inside with me during the whole thing? or will he just have to wait in the reception/waiting area?

Like I said this will be my first child so i really don't know what to expect at all!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Beforehand sorry for the long post. I want to try to give you the whole story. Im 19, my boyfriend, or well ex is 25. We met online 10 months ago and started dating 9 months ago. He's in the army and he lives on post, I work full time and we live about 45 minutes away so we only see each other from fri night to sunday night. Er stays over at my place. Everything in our relationship was great until about 2 months ago... thats when things started to really go downhill. We are each other firsts, our sex life is really good, we can talk about anything, and we always tell each other that we are each others best friend, and its true. We are different though... we were raised different... i was raised with a mom who was very strict but at the same time she let me live my life and enjoy and make my own decisions. I've never done anything wrong though, never done drugs, never smoked, etc. I do drink but thats because my family is European and well, wine and all that thats like juice for us, however, i've never been drunk in my life. He was raised a very strict mormon, his parents and like very religious. He stopped going to church a few months before he met me. I think our greatest difference problem was the religion. But I respect his and any other religion so I didnt care, he didnt seemed to care much either, he said he had dated girls from other religions too.

Anyway... I have to say at the beginning of our relationship I lied to him, I told him I was like this party girl and that I had some crazy stuff and all that when thats far from true. I guess I just saw my girl friends all doing all this crazy stuff and going to clubs all the time and I wasnt doing it, that when I met him I thought I had to say that so he wouldn't find me boring or something. I know it was a huge mistake, this is the first time in my life I've lied and I regret it so much... From that image I put in his head of being a "party girl" he had so many arguments (i said that before knowing what a decent guy he was), but we got through those arguments.

We were great together most of the time, we traveled together, went on vacations, went to meet one of his sisters for a week, everything seemed so great.

We started having sex after being 4 months together... After that we've had some pregnancy scares and I think that also hurt our relationship. About a month ago I was really late on my period and we thought I might be pregnant, he talked about it, he said he wanted to get married, I said I didnt want to get married just because of a kid, he said he was planning to propose in Dec. So after that for about 2 weeks or so he was talking about marrying like all the time, he seemed so happy, where we'd live, what'd we do... all this plans together... then suddenly one day he told me he was having doubts that he didnt want to get married now. He had a huge argument about it... I was really hurt because even though the first couple of days I didnt really believe him... after a while I got really excited. I love him with all my heart and I'd love to marry him. So I was really hurt and he said he was ashamed of himself for hurting me, etc... so we took a one week break. We talked and I told him that even though I was hurt I didnt need to marry him, I just wanted to be with him, and I didnt need to marry him in order for me to do that, he said he felt pressured but that he still wanted me in his life, so we got back together.

We were somewhat ok for the rest couple of weeks... until Tuesday. It was the day after celebrating 9 months together and he broke up with me. He sent me an email telling me how he had small doubts from the beginning about us, that we felt in his heart we werent right for each other, how we wanted different things (not true) and a whole bunch of other stuff. I was beyond devastated. My heart was just crushed... He is my first everything, but most important he is the first time I've truly loved. I gave him all my heart. I'm a really reserved person, I've been hurt so many times before by the people I loved the most that I just never put myself out there because im so afraid of getting hurt again, so I just think that if I dont let people in, if they leave, it wont hurt as bad. But he asked me to let him in and I did, he met my family, I told him everything about me, I just gave him all, because I thought he loved me and that he'd be the last person to hurt me.

I asked him for another chance... I came clean with the lies I've told him, I asked him for forgiveness and another chance with no more lies or anything. We were so great together, I know that if he'd give me another chance we can make this work. But he said he wasnt going to give me another chance, that we were over, no second chances. That he hoped we could remain friends but he couldnt be my bf anymore, that he forgives me for lying but we couldnt be together anymore.

I kept trying to explain and convince him to try again but nothing worked. He said we were over and that h

So I went to turn the monitor on this morning, but the on/off button got stuck or something. The computer works fine but I cant turn the monitor on or off.

I went to dell suport but it said that the warranty to chat with technical support was expired! and nothing on the troublesolving section that talks about it, so now Im really freaking out.

I have to finish some papers for Monday so I really need the computer to work.

I tried to unstuck the button but It doesnt work.

Anybody has any ideas? Please i really need to fix it.

ok, so I'm going to go to my doctor and ask him about it, but still I thought I'd do a little research among women and their experience.

I want to start with a birth control method. I dont like the patch because I have had friends who got pregnant while on the patch.

So I was thinking in the pill, but there are so many out there, how do tou really know which one is better? I want to get one that doesnt mess me up hormonaly and all that, no gaining weight or anything like that. My bf is also using a condom but I want to be on birth control just in case, because we really dont want kids now, and if he and i use protection then there will be less chances of that happening.

So what kind of cirth control method do you use? what are the side effects of it? the good things about it?

My brother and a whole bunch of friends are going to Las Vegas this summer (all of them over 21. I'm 19). He told me if I wanted to join them and i really want to go. I'll probably take a friend that is also under 21. I was just wondering what cool things can I do there? Not kids stuffs or anything like that please. I'm guessing I cannot go into a casino or something like that but I'm not sure since I've never been to Las Vegas. But still, what else is there to do. Because I really want to go but while they are partying and gambling I dont want to stay bored at the hotel room.

Ok... This is the story...

My mom is 47. Since she was a kid she wasn't suppose to be able to have kids because she fell when she was a kid and I don't remember exactly what the deal was but I know her uterus is not suppose to be able to bear a child. Anyway, after she got married she was pregnant with my brother. The doctors didn't have an explication for this because there was no logical way she could have got pregnant. They just said it had to be am miracle or something like that because they couldn't explain it. 4 years after my brother was born my mom was pregnant with me. Again the doctors could not explain how she got pregnant. Both of us were born by C-section but other than that the whole pregnancy was like any other pregnancy. About 3 years ago my mom had a miscarriage. And about a year ago her period stop coming. She hasn't gone to the doctor to check if its menopause or not. She has had some problems with benign tumors in the ovaries in the past. The thing is about a 4 weeks ago she is been having the typical pregnancy symptoms (nausea, vomiting, sore boobs, etc) My question is, besides the fact that she wasn't suppose to be able to get pregnant in the first place... Could she be pregnant now?

I know that an answers could be "take a pregnancy test","do a blood test", but I'm just asking if its possible that she is pregnant again...

I have a female Siberian Husky. She just turned 6 months old. How do you tell when she is in heat? how long it lasts? And can someone guide me through what happens during her heat? Do I need to do something during this whole process?

She will be spayed after her first heat.

Approximately how much does the operation costs?

How do I care for her after the operation? is there anything special I can do for her when she gets home? and how long is the recovery time after the operation?

I read that it is possible if both parts agree to it. And I also read that in the state of Maryland (where I live) any person of any age can be adopted. The thing is that I was born in Spain. I've been there for about 2 years. My papers are filed but as always it takes a long time. So my stepfather wants to adopt me so we can get the papers faster, because he wants to take us for a vacation in Europe. But don't get me wrong, is not all because of getting the papers faster, he is a great man and he has show me what a father is. My dad died when I was a little kid so I never knew what was like to have a father. And he is been there for my mom and me. And I was so honor when he asked me to have his last name... Anyway, can he really adopt me? Is there any legal issue that may arise?

I use Interceptor for my dog. The breeder from where I got my dog used Heartgard before for her. My vet always gives her Interceptor. I was talking with the breeder and I told her the vet gave me interceptor for the dog and she said not to use that anymore. That it was dangerous.

I just wanted to know if is true that Interceptor is dangerous (not that I dont believe the breeder, I just want to know why is it dangerous), and If Heartguard is in fact better than Interceptor...
