  • PowerPoint Presentation Slide Show Question?

I have Office 2010, and I'm working on a PP presentation. Can someone explain to me how I transition from one bullet point to the next on the slides? I've figured out how to change from one slide to the next, but I don't like how you can see all of the bullet points once you go to the next slide. I hope that made sense, I don't know how else to explain it.

  • The Sookie Stackhouse Novels Timeline Question.....?

I'm having a discussion with a co-worker and we're trying to remember the timeline of the Bill/Sookie/Eric triangle....

So, I think Bill and Sookie broke up twice. The first came when he wasn't paying any attention to her and then he started dating the lawyer. And then something happened where he saves her life or something like that and then they got back together. I remember this because they have this crazy sex scene where she tells him to be sweet and he says no it's been too long. This happened before Eric loses his memory and she's in the hospital and Eric forces Bill to tell Sookie why he really came to town. This is when they break up for good.

Now my co-worker thinks that they only broke up once and Eric forced Bill to tell Sookie why Bill came to town prior to him losing his memory. She also thinks that when Eric lost his memory Sookie and Bill were really officially over because of Bill's lie.

Help us please before I have to read all of the books over again. Thanks!

  • Any suggestions on a good series to read?....?

I'm snowed in...again! I'm so sick of the snow! In light of being cooped up in my house for the last week, I've finished the series I was reading..The Sookie Stackhouse novels. I love them. They were funny, super sexy, and I was invested in the characters. So, I was wondering if you all could give me some suggestions on another series that is just as good. They don't necessarily have to be about vampires or anything like that but they do have to be just a good. I absolutely hate going into a book store and not knowing what I'm looking for. Thank you for your help in advance....

  • Popcorn Stitch or Puff Stitch?

I want to do something different to the edging of the blanket I'm making. Would it be better to do the puff or popcorn stitch? Does it matter or is it based on personal preference. And for either stitch, what is the spacing between the chains?

Thanks for all of the help.

  • A garden/ tea party help with a dirt cake....?

I have a two part question. I'm throwing a tea/ garden birthday party for a 7 year old (a cookout). I wanted to do a dirt cake and I found recipe but the recipe calls for unglazed terra cotta pots because I will baking the cake inside the pot. Well, when I was in Michael's I saw these super cute small tea cups with the saucer attached to them. I think they are glazed because they are shiney. So, my question is... is it absolutely necessary that I use unglazed terra cotta pots? or Does anyone know of a recipe that will allow me to use the shiney tea cups? and just in general, would anyone know a good recipe for dirt cake that they've used. I'm cool with using a recipe that I've found, but I'll have to test it first and I really don't have time for that as the planning of this party fell into my lap 3 days ago and it's in 2 weeks.

Any help would be much appreciated....

  • Crotcheting help, please?

Could a crocheting guru please explain to me what the "cl" means in these directions?

This is the Sunrise Sunset Afghan finishing portion:

Rnd 9 (Right Side): With right side facing, attach CB in center corner sc; work beg cl in same sc, ch 2, skip next dc, * cl in next sc, ch 2, skip next dc; rep from * around; join. Fasten off. Mark corner clusters.

I thought it could be color, but that doesn't make sense.

  • Help with a cookie dropper.....?

I'm making Paula Deen's recipe for Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies and the batter is really really sticky even after refrigerating them over night. I have 4 dozen of them to make for my holiday party. Does anyone know of an easy way to keep the cookie dropper from becoming sticky as well. I've already tried pam but that only works for a little while.

Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Denny/Izzie...Grey's Anatomy spoiler.....?

I just read ew.com and found out what's going on with Denny/Izzie. Please don't read if you don't want to know.....

According to multiple sources, Izzie's hallucinations are health-related -- and brain-related. And although the specific name of the ailment is being kept in the safe underneath Rhimes' desk, I'm told it's similar to an aneurysm. And every time it flares up, she sees Denny. And sometimes when it really flares up, she shags him. (A Grey's rep could not be reached for comment.)

But wait, there's more! Izzie's aneurysmish disorder was never intended to be fatal. Plans change, but, per an ABC insider, Rhimes didn't cook up this story in order to grant Katherine Heigl's alleged wish to be let go from the show. Rather, the boss wanted to give her employee the thing she allegedly wanted, the thing that eluded her last season: great, Emmy-worthy material.

And say what you want about the story, Heigl has delivered.

For their part, ABC execs remain divided except for on one point: Everyone acknowledges that the plot is asking the audience to take a huge leap. "It's definitely an unorthodox story, but I trust in Shonda," maintains one suit, who says the press will eviscerate the net no matter what they do. "If we interfere, we get blamed for messing with someone's creative vision. If we don't do anything, we get blamed for the backlash. You really can't win."

Another insider says Alphabet execs are getting antsy waiting for the audience to find out about the underlying medical issue fueling Izzie's spectral romance. So antsy, in fact, that they are applying some light pressure on Rhimes to speed up the reveal. Once you know the reason Izzie is seeing Denny, they figure, you'll be much more willing to go along for the ride.

I'm much more willing now. What do you guys think?

  • How do I convince my overweight friend that it's ok to scuba dive? ?

My best friend and I are going to Thailand in August 09 for 3weeks for our 30th birthday. I really really want to go scuba diving. That would be the highlight of my trip. She is really overweight and someone told her that you have to wear a wetsuit when diving, you need to lather yourself down in dish detergent to get the suit on, and they don't make wetsuits in her size. In my amatuer scuba diving experiences (2), I've never had to wear a suit and I don't know enough to tell her the gospel truth. Apparently, the person she got this info from is really experienced. But I cannot believe that you have to use dish soap to get it on which make me a little suspicious of this person. So my questions are:

1.) Do you need to wear a wetsuit to dive in Phuket?

2.) If you do, are overweight people able to wear them and be comfy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I can't go by myself and I really want her to experience it.

  • Denny...Grey's Anatomy?

Ok, after watching Grey's tonight I can't figure it out at all. I know he's dead and all and Jeffrey Morgan is soooo freaking sexy but WTF!! I don't think Izzie has a brain tumor but perhaps she just can't let go or something. But then how can you have sex with a sexy dead guy??

I love how they're expanding McSteamy's character and showing the sweet side of him. Nothing is ever easy with this show, but then again, if it were, I wouldn't be addicted.

Does anyone have any thoughts or scoops to help solve the mystery?

  • Hair weave maintenance....?

On Friday, I'm getting hair weave sown in after having braids for about a year. I'm trying to grow my hair long before I perm it again. I'm deathly afraid of having all of my hair fall out due to poor maintenance. I was doing research about it but I couldn't find anything concrete.

Does anyone have any tips about maintanence? Should I use the normal scalp oil that use or do I need to buy the blue cheap stuff that is only sold in the industrial size? Also, are there specific brands of hair that are better than others as I want them to look as natural as possible. How long should I keep them in? What's the norm?

    Any tips are much appreciated!

  • Why is everyone making a big deal about Palin and the debate? ?

Coming from a person who has studied politics, foreign and domestic, and has a few degrees in said studies, I'm curious as to why people are saying that Palin was amazingly awesome last night? I know there is this whole partisan thing where because she's a republican and a woman, you simply have to vote for her because she's "energizing", "conservative", "a hockey mom of 5", and everything else people are listing as a reason to vote for McCain/Palin.

But forgetting all of that. From her own party, they pretty much dumbed her down and made the expectation that she would do a good job, heartbreaking low. Clearly she exceeded the expectation because she had help by cramming and practicing. That was evident. Yes, she had her note cards on the major talking points. Yes, she delivered what was fed to her well. What I want to know, is how this helps her in the long run. Does it?

Based on what I saw last night the only thing she did was exceed our low expectations. That only makes her mediocre at best. Do we really want mediocrity as a VP?

  • The new 90210....Did anyone else watch?

The show just ended on the east coast and I told myself I wasn't going to watch, but since there was nothing else on, why not. I have to say that they redid it very well by incorporating the children of the original cast. I'm officially hooked now because the adults have as much drama as the teenagers, which I think is good. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. What are your thoughts?

  • Does anyone know the name of this book?

I saw it in Barnes & Noble and I don't know why I didn't buy it then, now I'm kicking myself because I can't remember the name but I want to read it. I was just there and the sales people looked at me like I was crazy.

It's a non-fiction book about a Jewish guy who converted to radical Islam in college and was friends with jihadists here in America etc etc. He evetually saw the light and then 911 happened and decided to go to the FBI to tell them of what he knew and it turns out that the FBI already knew his name.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

  • Dave Matthews Band Concert 06/27/08 @ Hershey?

I need to settle a bet for $250. Does anyone have the set list for this concert which was amazing! I know without a shadow of a doubt, that they played Typical Situation, Dancing Nancies, and Jimi Thing. My friend, who was also at the concert, said they didn't. Jimi Thing was after his hysterical hershey's syrup can plea.
