  • Will an adult molar fall out on its own if loose?

Here is the thing, after a very poorly done root canal I loss feeling in my right side of my face, in the attempt to regain feeling they took the molar behind it out. Now months later I still have not gained the feeling back and therefore they have told me that I have to take the tooth that I had the root canal on out. So the tooth needs to go anyway. However the filling that this horrible dentist did is long gone and I've been putting off the oral surgery due to financial reasons and finding the time to take off from work. Anyway long story short, the tooth broke recently and now is a small piece left and while eating yesterday became very loose. Question is, will this tooth fall out kind of like how baby teeth fall out? Will it heal properly? Or do I have to suck it up and go to the oral surgeon?

  • Any suggestions for a NYC 25th bday party location?

Looking for something fun and low key, but also new. Places that I'm looking for have like a Mean Fiddler, Metro 53, McFadden's type vibe. Those places however I've way over done and tend to have a 21 year old crowd. Looking for something just fun where I can laugh be loud and not get dirty looks from 35+ year olds when I'm taking my 5th shot of tequila but also not stepping in puke to the bathroom by 11pm. Something also that has good music like a mix of 90s and top 40s and room to dance a little if I want to. Like I said, a metro 53 vibe but a little older crowd. Any suggestions?

and not looking for a private room or anything special just about 15 friends going out for some laughs and drinks, and not too expensive so not looking for bottle service or anything like that.

  • Should I put my current part time/second job babysitting on my resume?

I currently do work a full time job as a social worker with teenage kids, and have 3 years experience doing this. I've also been working for the past two years with a family babysitting. I'm wondering if now since the babysitting has been a steady two year position if I should add it to my resume. Of course I would make it sound nice, right now I have it listed as child care provider and list my responsibilities as ensure the safety and well being of two children, supervise and provide recreation, and assist in feeding and bedtime responsibilities (sounds a lot better than play Pretty pretty princess and help brush teeth I think!) But I'm wondering if it should be included at all. I am currently in the social work field and my goal is to stay with children/adolescents so I'm thinking it fits, but not sure if it makes me look immature.

Also anyone think I should take out my last position as a waitress that I had in college? Since I graduated in 07' I've only been with my current employer so I still have my two year employer listed to show that I wasn't just cruising by in college. Is it time to get rid of that?

  • Am I responsible for student loans my deceased grandmother took out?

So here is the question... My grandmother took out loans for me when I was in college. When I graduated and still loan payments were extremely hard for me to make and the loans went into default. They contacted me for payment yada yada yada. I tried to consolidate my loans recently to get on track and make one payment because I have other loans that I am currently paying. So when I tried to consolidate they told me I was not able to consolidate the loans my grandmother took out because she is the loan holder and it was not linked to my social security (I tried to consolidate with direct loans). So here is the question, what exact link do I have to those loans. They were taken as student loans and paid straight to my college and I was obviously the student they were paid for. She passed away a little over a month ago and I have not heard from the collectors since. She has no assess tseft, she was living with my parents for years when she became ill and all money left in her account paid her fufloralills. If I am responsible for these loans what should I do since I can not coconsolidatend the last time they talked payments with me it was over 800 a month and I def can not do that!

  • My nail is swollen and throbbing under an acrylic nail, whats wrong?

So here's the situation. I have acrylic nails. I had an old set removed, when the lady removed it with a metro card of all things she peeled off a piece of my nail. She actually then used nail glue to seal it back instead of filing it off. I didn't notice that it was that deep that she ripped off so I didn't understand why she glued it. But anyway this was yesterday afternoon and when I woke up this morning it was hurting a lot, swollen and throbbing. I took some motrin to reduce the swelling, it worked for a little while and now hurting again. Any clue what is going on? Should I go in a soak the nail off. I'm worried that soaking in acetone would only hurt it more. Any ideas?

  • What is the difference between a Sony play station 3 controller and one of these random brand controllers?

So I'm looking for a stocking stuffer for my brother-in-law and my sister said that he needs another playstation 3 controller. I looked them up on sites like walmart.com and target.com and there like in the mid 45-50 range. I looked on ebay and there are a bunch of other random brand ones for like $15-$20. Are these any good. They look exactly the same except they don't have the sony brand written on them. Will they still work? Any good? Also if not anyone know where I can get a good one for a discount? I wanna spend max like 30.

  • Could I have nail fungus?

I just popped off an acrylic nail, and I noticed part of mail nail is black. Could this be a fungus? or could I have just jammed it and made a bruise. I don't remember hitting it, but I doubt I would remember. It doesn't hurt or smell and it's a light black. I googled nail fungus and this isn't what I found... any help?

  • someone jumped my car and blew my car computer will my insurance cover it?

So my battery died and someone helped by jumping my battery, however in the process they blew my battery fuse and it ended up frying my computer and now I need a battery fuse and a new ECM, is this something that my insurance will pay for? I have full coverage from Geico, my car is only a 2006 and the lease and warranty were up on 8/20 and I'm currently on a lease extension until I figured out what I wanted to do next. Will it make any sense calling the insurance?

  • Can I trade in a car that I still owe money for?

Here is my real question and the figures. I currently have a 2006 Nissan Altima SL that I refinanced after the lease ended. I owe about 13,500 on the car but the kelly blue book says my car is worth about 24k. I want to start working toward owning a car but not this altima. Soooo ... I was thinking about getting a Honda Civic, trading in my Nissan and taking something as low as 17-18 k for the Nissan and using the extra 4-5k as a down payment towards a new Honda? Does this sound like something that could work or am I thinking about it all wrong?

  • If I put mail on hold at the post office will they allow me to have access to it?

Here is the thing. I just moved from my old address as of 2 weeks ago. I never forwarded, although I meant to, my mail since I really don't use the mail to much. Anyway I recently purchased something online and forgot to change my pay pal address so the item is now on its way to my old apt that I have no access to. The only reason I'm freaking is the package was mailed on Saturday (yesterday) and its tickets to a baseball game on Wednesday, so I don't have time to forward my mail now, because the package will never get to me in time. If I temporarily put my mail on hold till say Thursday to be safe, will they allow me to walk in and get my mail on Wednesday? I still work in the same town that I used to live, so I can easily still access that same post office.

  • How do I make the switch from a regular phone to a blackberry?

I currently have a verizon cell phone that has the basic features and I also pay for the internet, so about $95 a month. Well my cell phone died today and I'm not due for an upgrade until October. So here is my options. I have insurance, but I will have to pay $50 to get a new phone or my sister has a blackberry that she only used for about a month and is like new condition, so I could just take this phone from her. My question is, how do I do this? I'm tech challenged, and in the "old" days of cell phones you just switched your memory/SIM cards and you were done. How can I switch to the blackberry? Do I have to go into Verizon? How much will it cost?

PS my current phone is a Verizon Samsung Alias u740.

    Thanks!

  • Can you get a tattoo right before you have surgery?

It's my mom's 55th Birthday on Saturday and she wants to get the tattoo she's wanted since she was a teenager, just a small rose probably on her ankle or her back. But the thing is on the following Wednesday she is going in for shoulder surgery. Is this ok? I know about not giving blood and reasons why they wouldn't tattoo her such as if she was on blood thinners and that stuff but she isn't. Can their be any complications as long as everything is legit and clean at the tattoo place, which as far as I know is very clean (I've had a few things done there and other friends have as well)

  • How can i tell if I've ever been called for Jury duty?

I've heard a lot of my co-workers, friends and family complaining about serving Jury duty, but I don't believe that I've ever been called for it. I'm 23 so I've been eligible for 5 years now, is it possible that I've never been called? or did I somehow miss a letter? I live in NY if that helps.

  • May sound stupid, but I'm spotting, could I be pregnant?

ok ok, I know it sounds dumb. But I used to be on the pill back in my teenage years and early twenties so I know what spotting is, but I'm not on the pill and haven't been in over a year.

This is the situation, I had unprotected sex about 3 weeks ago. I am due for my period this Saturday ( 3 days from now) but I noticed that I had a very tiny bit of blood on Monday so I figured I would get it over the night and that was it. But then now for the past 3 days I have had a very little bit of blood each day, I mean a very little bit, barley what would be considered a normal last day of a period. Could this be my body showing me I'm pregnant? I have no clue and no one to turn to that has any real knowledge about this! Whats going on with me?

  • I need help from the Social workers out there!!?

As part of my internship, I have to hold a group with my clients. I work in a DRC boarding home with little boys ages 6-11. As I'm getting ready to end my internship I wanted to discuss termination with them. I was going to have a group set up where this is the main topic every session. I was looking for some ideas for the group sessions. Examples of what exactly I'm trying to do is maybe give them the poem Footprints, how even when people leave they always leave something behind. This is the concept that I'm trying to get out there, but I'm not sure how to go about it with these young boys. Anyone have any suggestions??
