  • Making my treadmill workout more challenging?

    I have a treadmill at home, which I use 3-4 times a week.

    Currently, I run 2.7 miles each time, running the first 2 miles in just over 29 minutes, then I do a sprint, then slowing down for about 6 minutes.

    Unfortunately, my treadmill doesn't have a variable incline.

    What would be the best way to increase my fat burning. Should I .....

    a) Run each day/more often

    b) Try to improve my times and run faster

    c) Try to run for longer, even if it means slowing down

    ???

    I am trying to lose weight (about 10 pounds), and am also cutting back on calories to around 1400-1500 per day.
