Religious Does Not = Christian!

There is a working that I think, timing wise, will work best started at the moment the moon is darkest. Unfortunately, the next Dark Moon (which is the perfect timing in every other way) falls at the exact minute of Moon v/c. It's a universal understanding that Moon Void of Course causes disaster, or at least a completely ineffectual working.

How would you recommend I time this working? How long does Moon v/c last?

This is a working for health. What I want is for health to move just as the moon, so I ONLY want it to wax. What I mean is that I want someone's health now to be as low as it will be and not get any worse before waxing like the moon. But I really want to do it at this coming dark moon, as I did a disease waning spell at the last full moon, and I don't want the illness to get stronger, weaker, repeat. Given what I want to do, should I push the timing forward, back (and how long), or leave it the same? Thanks a bunch.

It's the one with the five colored blocks and you have to make them all green. I have only found one walkthrough that gave a solution, and it was wrong, because that sequence (bottom buttons 1, 3, 4, 4, 2, 1, 5, 5, 5) leaves block 3 yellow.

I know that moving block one moves one and two, moving two moves one, two, and five, etc., but as far as I can tell, it's not possible to move three and four independently of each other, and if you can't do that, it's not possible to solve the puzzle.

I like puzzles, but this one is so hard it's sucking the fun out of the game and I can't continue until I open it. My boyfriend, whose IQ is probably as high as Bobby Goren's, can't figure it out either. Does anyone know? Thanks

Every day of the Llewellyn's Witches' Calendar and Datebook has the color that corresponds with that day. I'm not big on just believing everything that people tell me. I'd like to know if these are reliable colors to line up magickal workings with.

Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

It's clear that Jesus did not want too many people to be converted and wanted many people to go to hell. He didn't want them to be saved and forgiven.

If Jesus wanted to ensure that there would be as few people as possible in heaven, why do you guys go around trying to turn everyone to your religion? Do you care more about people's eternal souls than Jesus did? Or were you just completely unaware of the existence of this verse?

And I just know that someone is going to call me an atheist: Newsflash- there is more than one religion in the world.

that there are more morally demanding religions than Christianity? Ignoring, of course, the faulty assumption that all non-Christians are atheist, and that atheists are specifically rejecting Christianity and no one else, wouldn't their logic dictate that, by shunning religions that are more demanding (see below), they are actually Christians because they want to live a life of depravity?

Buddhism (shun all physical pleasure), Wicca (do NOTHING that harms anyone - much more restrictive than the ten commandments), Hinduism (no meat), Norse Heathenism (only warriors get to Valhalla) the Amish (nothing modern at all), etc.

The logic of these Christians is "if you don't believe in our god it's obviously because you want to be sinful." Ergo, if you don't believe in one of these religions, its obviously only because you want to be sinful, right?

By pointing this out, is it possible that any militant Christian will drop that particular argument about the assumed depravity of non-Christians?

I plan on storming Paradise Falls after I level up a little more and basically just killing everyone. I want to know if I should take the Lawbringer perk before I do this. Of course, if killing slavers doesn't have any karma effect, that would be a waste of a perk.

So will I get good karma for killing slavers?

Has this happened to anyone else? After reading hundreds of "You can't be moral without the Bible"s, I decided to ask how people can possibly be moral WITH the Bible. I included a number of extremely evil Bible verses to back up my point - God killing a guy for trying to keep the Ark of the Covenant from falling and breaking, killing newborn babies for the sins of their great-grandfathers, God encouraging his people to rape the women of the countries they invade and to kill all the children, etc.

Every time I mention any evil Bible verse, even in the context of a legit question with no insults, it gets deleted.

How often does this happen (anyone claiming that's not a genuine question is messed up in the head).

This question cannot be deleted unless someone is just trying to lie to themselves and claim that the Bible is moral.

Are Christians this determined to not read their own holy book? Don't start whining about "out of context." There is NO context that can make any of these things okay. That's like saying that "Hitler killed millions of people, including children," is "taken out of context."

Do the people who talk about the abomination of homosexuality and saying the Bible says it should be banned ever consider this verse?

So what do you think? Should be ban the marriage of people with two different religions? If not, how do you explain the double standard?

I haven't been doing any sort of healing spells or anything. My practice is barely related to physical health at all. I usually spend about an hour a day with standard craft exercises - holding images and sensations in my mind, deep meditation, spiritually traveling into objects, etc. I've found that if I skip more than a week of "class," I start to get physically ill.

Due to a drastic change in diet and sleep schedules, not to mention moving into an entirely different ecosystem than what my body had become used to, it seemed for a while like stuffiness and nausea were my body's standard state of being. When I started intensely studying Witchcraft - classes every day, sometimes for two hours, my health would improve.

I am very science-minded, and I realize that this is probably in part a placebo effect. I also realize that correlation does not necessarily imply causation. I still feel that this has happened consistently enough - often before I noticed a correlation, that it can't be dismissed entirely as psychological.

Has anyone else who has practiced magick/Witchcraft somewhat regularly noticed an improvement in psychical health, seeming to come only from the pattern of your studies?

(Notice I am asking people with first or second-hand experience with magick. Those who have dealt with this can give me a "nay" answer, no problem, but don't respond simply to say "Magick can't possibly work because a). Doing "magic" that I've seen in movies is physically impossible and I'm going to assume that's what you're doing, b). The idea of magick sounds weird, so even though I have never studied, experimented, or bothered to talk to anyone involved, I'm going to just say that you're an idiot or c). I tried it once with no practice or effort and it didn't work, so obviously it doesn't work for you either." Don't tell me I'm going to hell, either. There is more than one religion in the world, you don't know everything- get over yourself.)

Since when does "Freedom of Religion" mean "freedom for Christians and screw everyone else?"

Christians whine that schools don't enforce prayer to their god, and they can't stand the though of removing "Thou shalt have no other god before me" on the courthouses, and basically just turning every non-Christian into a second-class citizen, but would scream their heads of if someone from another belief so much as mentions it in public. Gay marriage has been outlawed only because Christians don't like it, even though it's not hurting anyone. Same reason black people weren't allowed to marry white people. Why do Christians believe that they can force everyone else to live by their laws, taken from a completely immoral book that encourages slavery, genocide, and murdering children?

And don't you assume I'm atheist. Other religions are sick of being treated like dirt too and I won't be bullied!

Personally, I find quick travel a bit of a cheat. Think of how much beauty and fun (not to mention goodies) you miss! There's nothing more exciting (in a game anyway) than having one HP and being miles from one of my beds - I've taken over quite a few raider camps and moved myself in as well as living in Megaton.

If you don't believe that Witchcraft can work, that's fine (as long as you're not rude about it). Of course there are fictional things like Harry Potter, but that's a completely different definition of Witch. Fantasy witches and wizards came after the first definition, which is someone who follows a spiritual magickal path.

Most people don't believe in Nirvana, but they don't say "Buddhists aren't real." If you don't believe the same things as Hindus do, do you say Hinduism doesn't actually exist?

Let's break this down like rational adults.

1. Gay marriage doesn't hurt anyone. If you don't like gay marriage, don't have one.

2. There are hundreds of documented cases of gay animals. Just because someone doesn't bother to study biology doesn't mean they can claim it doesn't exist.

3. Procreation - Yes, the world isn't overcrowded enough. By all means let children rot away in orphanages, because dammit, we need to kick out more babies! The Earth isn't overpopulated enough!

4. Procreation - only people who can have children together have the right to get married - so old people and the infertile don't have that right, either?

5. Raising children- Hundreds of psychological studies have conclusively found that the only difference between kids raised in gay homes and in straight ones is that the kids in gay homes tend to be nicer to people who aren't just like them. Less racism, sexism, religious intolerance, etc. How horrible!

6. Marriage is a legal document. Unless you chose to have a ceremony in a church, it has nothing to do with religion.

7. The Constitution clearly states that there cannot be one religion elevated over all others (that's why our forefathers came here, duh). Because many religions celebrate gay unions, OUR religious rights are being violated by banning them. Oh, right, we're inferior to Christians, huh?

8. Even if it were a choice (yeah, every single gay/bi person in the world is lying about that *eye roll*), so what? Religion is a choice. So we can forbid you to build churches, right? After all, you CHOSE to be Christian.

9. Adam and Eve both had brown eyes. So anyone with blue eyes is an abomination, right?

10. Since your god said that a man should be one when he takes a wife, that automatically means that it's forbidden.

11. Jesus made it clear that instead of doing unto others, we should force everyone to live by Christian laws even if they aren't Christian.

12. God said eating shellfish is an abomination too, but he didn't mean that one, really.

13. The Bible is obviously the best moral guide a person can have. After all, it tells you all the proper ways to have slaves, instructs you to set up a fair price when selling your daughter into slavery, and it's always very reasonable about the specific ways we should stone our disobedient children.

14. Gay marriage hurts all other marriages. You'll wake up in the middle of the night and say "Oh no! Two men just married each other in another time zone! Our marriage is less valuable now!"

15. Gays can't have love, only lust. All those 90 year olds who have been together 50+ years and look like they would snap like a twig if they had sex are obviously together only for lust.

16. It's just like any other sin. Should we allow murder or the rape of children? Cause that's what will happen when we allow gays to marry! It's the next logical step!

17. Other countries have permitted gay marriage and are doing just fine. But we're different. We'll collapse and be ruined.

18. People will marry dogs. Because a dog is recognized as a human being and can consent to marriage and sex. Dogs and gay people are about the same level.

19. The "I find it gross" argument is perfectly valid. I find dogs gross and disgusting. I think I'll ban dog ownership.

20. Churches will be forced to marry gays. Sure they have the right to turn anyone away for their religion, divorce, race, refusing counseling, having tattoos etc., but they'll be forced to marry gays.

Again IT DOESN'T HURT ANYONE!

The IUD is the only kind of non-barrier birth control I can use because of medicine that I'm on for other stuff. Hormone treatments of any kind won't work for me.

OBGYN's, what have your patients reported? (If it matters, I have never had a pregnancy, but my uterus has taken it without issue.)

I'm looking for a book and I don't know who took the pictures. Ansel Adams took pictures in Colorado a long time ago, and fifty years later, someone went back and took pictures of the same places to show how they had changed. I don't know who the new photographer was though. I know it was a fiftieth anniversary book. A big coffee table book with huge pictures, and I know the Ansel Adams was the one whose shots were being recreated. Does anyone know the book?

I've noticed that a lot of magickal practitioners use a candle to call each of the quarters, four different elements. It kind of seems imbalanced to me and I've often wondered why people do this instead of having a candle for fire, a plant for earth, etc. It seems to me that if you want to call an earth elemental, it wouldn't be attracted to fire, even if the candle is green. I would think an undine might even be repelled by a candle. I'm guessing you may call four salamanders.

What are your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance for your wisdom.
