Ran poorly suddenly one day for my wife. Since then we did head and valve job (low compression #2), new plugs, wires, coils, ignition control module, cam sensor, crank sensor, oil pressure switch (leaking), MAP sensor, thermostat, fuel pump, fuel filter, O2 sensor, all new exhaust (with header and performance cat). There is a P0300 code for random misfire that has been present since the car stopped running correctly. As far as I can see, the tps reads 0 to 100% with the depression of the accelerator, I have not been able to find a vacuum leak. All injector pulse widths are the same. All of these things really made no difference in the very rough idle and extreme lack of power. This car is kicking my ***, and it's one step from the shop. Help please.

I am buying and restoring an 87 camaro that has a 2.8 v6. I can make the v6 run but am curious if anyone has made this swap before. I have done several engine swaps but they were all v8 to v8. There are a few sensors, so that tells me there is a primitave computer of sorts.

2000 Cavalier, mileage shows up on start up, but changes to "error" mileage is 75,402. just bought vehicle and tore out dash to see if there was a wire short. No wiring damage is apparent, so I assume it is a computer problem, but what could it be?
