  • If a car can turn on right after shutting it off, does that rule out a bad alternator?

My 2000 Tahoe in that last couple days has been having trouble starting. Here's what I can tell you.

-Battery is only 2 years old.

    -Original Alternator

-All electronics seem to work properly when car does turn on. No issues while its running. Reads 13.5 volts on the dash. (Haven't verified with a meter)

-If I shut off the car I can turn it back on without a problem.

Is there enough here to conclude the alternator is still ok? It seems odd the battery would only last 2 years. I usually get 5 years out of my batteries. I'm living at school and don't have tools readily available that's why I'm posting the question otherwise I'd run the usual tests at home.

  • Who is given credit for inventing the triangle offense?

As most NBA fans know, Phil Jackson has implemented this offense with both the Lakers and Bulls with great success. However, I'm told he is not the one who came up with it. Does anyone know which coach was the first to use it/ come up with it. Thanks.
