  • Can anyone tell me why it is so difficult to get into Yahoo chat rooms?

I have complained to Yahoo about this, and they said the problem is with my ISP. This is a cop out on Yahoo's part.

  • Can MIG-31 fighter and SID explain where they both got this erroneous quote?

However for the engine, its a different scenario, there are many local flows inside the engine which exceeds the speed of sound and creates the sonic booms. This is true even when the engine is stationary, but running and providing some thrust.

At sea level, an object would have to travel approximately 1,225 kilometers per hour (761 mph) to create a sonic boom.

Please be correct with your info. Sonic speeds within an engine are destructive and no thrust would be produced.
