Is a 3-year Bachelor of Arts degree from India equivalent to a 4-year Canadian Bachelor's degree?
I'm currently pursuing a 3-year B.A. in English in a college in India that has been accredited with an A grade by the NAAC. I want to study in Canada for my Master's Degree, and a four year Bachelor's degree is required to do so. If I earned my B.A. degree in first class/division 1, would it be equivalent to a 4-year Canadian Bachelor's degree? If it wouldn't, what can I do to earn the equivalent of one? Would pursuing a one-year certificate course after my Bachelor's here in India help?
2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)5 years agoHow do I make rough hair softer?
My hair is healthy but it feels a little rough. Not so rough that it's close to damaged, just a little rough. He uses Himalaya Shampoo and L'Oreal conditioner and an egg-and-milk hair mask once a month. I use coconut oil before shampooing my hair. What else should I do?

So I'm a drummer and I listen to a lot of metal. I recently got together with a guitarist and a singer from my school and we decided to get this band thing started. The tricky part is we can't seem to find a bassist or a second guitarist who seem to want to join the band. What do I do?

1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoHow do I talk to boys without making a fool of myself?
I'm going start this off by saying that I have no romantic interests in any of these guys I'd like to talk to. I also need serious answers.
Whenever I need to say something to a guy, like "you left your books in the classroom" or if we have to do an assignment together, I feel so nervous, I can't even say anything, even though I know they're just people like me. I feel like I'll make a fool out of myself or be an idiot in front of them. I feel so shy, I want to kick myself after I've stammered something. But there's actually no problem when I'm talking to guys who are 2-3 years younger than me. That's actually easier than talking to other girls. Talking to guys from the same class is where I get nervous.
So I think this question falls under the category of "how to stop being a shy idiot". Just... how do I talk with guys without feeling like a helpless idiot? I just want to stop being shy. Help is much, much appreciated. I'm a girl, if you haven't figured that out. Thanks!

9 AnswersRock and Pop7 years agoWhat are the requirements for a nonimmigrant work visa in the USA?
My friend is from India. She's 21 and has a B.Com (I'm not sure what the American equivalent is, though it's probably a bachelor's degree). What are the requirements for a nonimmigrant work visa in the USA, and what are her chances to be accepted?
4 AnswersImmigration8 years agoA question about studying music in the US?
My friend lives in India and wants to move to the US to study music in a college. She's a drummer. What are the requirements? (She's 18.) also, if she wants to get into a band or something, what must she do? And what are some good colleges that offer drumming courses across the country? Thanks.
2 AnswersStudying Abroad8 years agoA question about Green Cards for immigrant musicians?
All right, so my friend lives in India and she's got a major in music (she's a drummer). She'd like to move to the US so she can be in a band and all that and do some producing at the same time. She's 22, and how can she go about moving to the US? (Because I read somewhere that you need a degree, and I'm wondering if having a major in music is enough.)
Serious answers are much appreciated.

3 AnswersRock and Pop8 years agoWhat are some important drum rudiments I should learn?
I've already learned the single stroke roll, the double stroke roll, the basic groove (you know, the one with hi-hat, hi-hat, snare, hi-hat and bass on the first hi-hat) and a couple of other rolls. What else should I learn, as a beginner?
P.S. I practice on a pillow, haha. Saving up for a drumkit.
