What's the best game and the easiest game for a rookie gambler to play at when at a casino and why?
Favourite answer:Before answering your question directly it is important for you to understand that casinos make money by always having the odds in favor of the casino. Consequently you cannot ever expect to become a professional gambler at a casino unless you play a game where you take money from other players instead of the casino. That means playing poker, and playing it better than other players at the table.
The answer by "Divide By Zero" is correct that the easiest game to play is slot machines.
The answer by "Tasm" correctly identified the games that have the lowest house advantage, which means that you will lose money less quickly most of the time by playing those games.

If I bought $1400 on lottery odds of winning ?
If I bought power ball or mega millions only 700 tickets. Rather buy state tickets which would be 1400 tickets. Sure the money is less but I am also competing only to the people in the state.

Is $6,000 enough to visit the casino?
I will be 21 next week and have been saving for the past year and a half for my big day at the casino. My friend visited one and ended up winning $150,000. I am planning to take the $6,000 I have saved and looking forward to big winnings.

Why don't casinos just use a different deck every time to eliminate card counting?
It wouldnt be that hard.
The black jack dealer could have 5 different decks and an automatic card shuffler, and alternate decks for each new play. That way the play would not be slowed down.
Then the player is starting from scratch for every new hand. They have nothing to count.

Something I've never found out or understood regarding betting odds - 7/4 odds on favorite means what exactly ?
If something has been given the odds of 7/4 for occurring, or some teams odds of winning a game is 7/4, does that mean I have to place $4 bare minimum as my starting bet in order to get a chance of winning $7 and my initial $4 back ?
Odds such as 12/1 are straight forward to understand, I interpret that as 'for every dollar you bet on this horse, you get 12 dollars back plus your initial 1 dollar, should your horse win'.
so am I interpreting 7/4 correctly ?

About legalizing gambling in Texas.?
I heard today on the radio that gambling might become allowed in Texas. Is it a good thing or not? To make it seem simple let us say 20 people pay $1. gambling and 1 person wins $15. and 15 people do not win anything and let us say $5. for the casino. Does that not mean 19 people unhappy for 1 person relatively happy? It seems a bad deal. How do you see it? Some people say it will bring a lot of revenue to Texas rather than the money going to other states but is that clean money? I went to places where there is gambling and basically those places become places where very few people care, and most people only think about what they can get for themselves. So is it a good deal?

Is 2k enough to play poker once a week for a year?
I’m thinking about being a recreational poker player and playing one night a week about 4 hours a week. I am a 1/2’player and the max buy in is 300 but I’m thinking about just putting 200 on the table because it’s 10x my poker savings. Is 2k enough for a decent player and could a decent player lose it all before the end of the year? I plan to buy a rack which is 500 bucks each session so the most I can lose per session is 500.
